Based in South Africa and London, photographer Nico Krijno first picked up a camera at the age of 10. Till this day, he prefers analog cameras and tries to capture a minimalist quality, as well as a sense of everlasting freedom.
Apart from working with clients such as Nike or Chroma Mag, Krijno is currently working on his first solo exhibition and a monogram titled On How to Fill those Gaps.

This inclination toward fashion is certainly evident in his photography; not a clean, glossy sense of fashion, but a raw one that is sharp around the edges.
His works deal with the tensions related to human sexuality and the relation between the human body and our surroundings.
As noted in Dazed and Confused Magazine, “He is less interested in rigid ideas & theories than in pursuing a way of looking at the world that is primarily emotional & spontaneous”.
