The SIP inaugurates its annual grant programs by issuing two calls in December 2010 -The SIP Call for Research on Philosophy and Photography and The SIP General Call for Research on Photography.
The 2011 program reflects The SIP’s current interest in a number of themes in photography theory and research. Some of the topics that the calls are set to evoke are concerned with the body, photography’s relationship with other media, ontology, memory, archives and databases as well as with issues relating to privacy.
